Back by popular demand for our 10th year!  Using Zoom, professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar will discuss 4 short stories published in The New Yorker magazine over 4 consecutive weeks: July 17th, July 24th, July 31st, and August 7th. Story titles will be announced one week prior to the discussion.

The current issue of The New Yorker is available in the Reading Room for in-library use, or download it through Libby on your computer or the Libby app on your mobile device.  Links to the stories at The New Yorker's website will also be provided.

This week's story is: "Abject Naturalism," by Sarah Braunstein, which can be found in the July 29th issue of The New Yorker at: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2024/07/29/abject-naturalism-fiction-sarah-braunstein.  An interview with the author can also be found on The New Yorker's website at: https://www.newyorker.com/books/this-week-in-fiction/sarah-braunstein-07-29-24.
